Well lovely people, another hectic month ahead with the opening of the first Maggie Oliver Centre in Rochdale planned.... more news and details to follow soon.....⠀

But this SUNDAY 2ND FEBRUARY we are holding our first get together for supporters of TMOF who would like to become involved and set up fundraising events of their own to help us on our way to providing a safe place for survivors of sexual abuse to come and feel safe.⠀
⠀
We will help access professional help, support, advice and guidance when needed....⠀
⠀
But to do this we need help! And funding! And fundraisers! And much more.....⠀
⠀
Our first meeting will be very chilled, and the wonderful Patsy from #freshstartnewbeginnings will share her expertise about fundraising with anyone looking for ideas, and I’ll explain a little more about our vision for the Centre...⠀

Here is a photo of some very special ladies. They were our first group to raise funds for us by organising their own sponsored climb of Mount Snowden in Wales. Danielle arranged a ‘girlie weekend’ to Wales for 15 brave souls and mixed amongst the Prosecco and thermals, and in the cold, rain and blizzards, they managed to climb Snowden raising a spectacular £2255 for The Maggie Oliver Foundation in the process!!⠀

Firstly can I say that I am completely and utterly overwhelmed with the hundreds of messages and emails you’ve all sent me.... and I want to thank each and every one of you and apologise for not replying yet!
It’s because I’ve been wall to wall in interviews since Yesterday and still am...... But I promise I will reply to every single one, so please bear with me..... But tomorrow at 10am on Radio 4 I am thrilled to be talking to the wonderful Jenni Murray on @bbcwomanshour about the horrific circumstances surrounding the death of Victoria Agoglia and the horrific failures of police and social services, yet again, in this case.
